I would give google a try for "server 2008" and "can't ping". windows can not repair this problem. then copy it in here. Do as DACREE suggested and delete and re-add it and check device manager status. Vista also states the my IP is used on the Network by another computer, even though it definitely isn't. Covered by US Patent.
